FREE COMPUTER AND CELLPHONE PROGRAM FOR SENIORS! 12/13

The Valley Resource Center is offering a FREE technology assistance program for local senior citizens to learn the use of computers and cellphones. This is a great opportunity for members of the senior community to connect with loved ones as well as access a wide array of resources. We provide assistance with social media interaction, working with apps, website navigation, and more. Our goal is to empower older adults by connecting them to community resources to help them live connected and fulfilling lives. 

Senior Information Technology Tables (S.I.T.T.'s) are held at the Murrieta Senior Center the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 am-11:00 am. No appointment needed. The Valley Resource Center is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization. For more information, please call 951-384-0110.

#ValleyGIVESday is a 24-hour giving day to inspire people of the Southwest Riverside County region to give generously to nonprofits that make our region a healthier and more vital place to live. 

Tuesday, November 28th is the global #GivingTuesday movement, so let's show the world that the #ValleyGIVES on #GivingTuesday!

Join over 20 nonprofit organziations from the Inland Valley as we celebrate this monumental day of giving at the Promenade Temecula from 3PM - 8PM, in front of the movie theater, with live entertainment, food, fun, and, of course, GIVING! Come learn what resources are available and how you could get involved. 

Make a donation to your favorite nonprofit(s) at the #ValleyGIVESday event, and for each donation, you will be entered into a drawing for some awesome raffle prizes! 

Be sure to visit the Valley Resource Center's booth to sign a free card for deployed military members!

Teen Pumpkin Plunge & Movie Night

Attention teens! Join us for some spooky splashes and late-night laughs at the all new Pumpkin Plunge and Movie Night. Grab your friends, dive into the deep end and swim away with the most petrifying pumpkin. Don't be afraid, just relax in the water for a movie in the dark! Featured movie will be Beetlejuice, rated PG. All teens are eligible for community service hours needed for school. Space is limited, so pre-registration is strongly recommended but not required. Please note that clear material floaties or water noodles are the only flotation devices allowed in the pool.
