There are many ways to help! Volunteer with a local nonprofit organization, volunteer with us, donate, refer a family who needs assistance, become a sponsor, or give resource suggestions. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved!

In the past year alone we have sent over 1400 pounds of goods to deployed military members, shared hundreds of local resources, filled 65+ backpacks with school supplies for needy families, raised over $600 for a WWII Veteran & replaced his flooring, and helped dozens of seniors with technology. All this and we are just getting started! Click HERE for more information about our programs and accomplishments. It is our volunteers and community partners that make it all possible. Consider becoming a volunteer today!

Senior Information Technology Table (S.I.T.T.)

The Valley Resource Center is offering a FREE technology assistance program for local senior citizens to learn the use of computers and cellphones. This is a great opportunity for members of the senior community to connect with loved ones as well as access a wide array of resources. We provide assistance with social media interaction, working with apps, website navigation, and more. Our goal is to empower older adults by connecting them to community resources to help them live connected and fulfilling lives.

We focus on four core programs - Computer Basics, Internet Basics, Email Proficiency, and an Introduction to Social Media.

Senior Information Technology Tables (S.I.T.T.'s) are held at the Murrieta Senior Center the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 am-11:00 am. No appointment needed. The Valley Resource Center is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization. For more information, please call 951-384-0110.
